It has served us well and we love it and will continue to use it for certain situations. Our baby is now two and my stroller needs have changed. I don't always want to use our heavy big city mini and found myself longing for a light weight umbrella fold stroller. I narrowed my choices down to the Maclaren Mark II, the Jooby Groove UltraLight, the UppaBaby G-Luxe, and the UppaBaby G-lite. After much debate, I nixed the Luxe because of the high price tag and the heavier weight. I was torn about not having a reclining stroller, but honestly my child rarely sleeps in the stroller anymore anyway, and she sleeps in the car seat all the time, so I don't think sleeping in a non reclining stroller in a pinch will be an issue. I mixed the Joovy after pushing my child in it. I hated the way it pushed and maneuvered ( and this was in a store on hard... Difficult decisions, By C Todd (texas) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase This review is from: UPPAbaby 2015 G-Lite Stroller, Jake (Baby Product) I struggled with making a decision on a stroller and scoured every review I could find online to make my decision. I was looking for a lightweight stroller for my two year son (who's as tall as a 4 year old). We had a trip to Disney world coming up so I had to make a decision faster than I would like. If not for the trip, I would debate it for a few more months...Anyway, my current stroller is a Baby Jogger Versa that I bought when he was about 8 months old. It's great because it can face me which was important to me when he was younger. But for travel I needed something lighter. The most important things for me were lightweight and good canopy coverage. I narrowed my choices down to Maclaren Mark II, Joovy Groove Ultralight and the Uppa G-lite. The Maclaren is absolutely the lightest, awesome to throw over the shoulder but I felt it was too small for my boy. Also, there was very little basket space, I really couldn't get anything in it. It is completely stripped... After much research the choice was between G Lite and G Lux. Our main purpose was for future airplane travel, but found it great for daily mall use. If it gets trashed, you aren't going to cry too much vs the more expensive models with more adjustment options. The tires might have premature wear if used on rough sidewalk pavement or gravel, best for indoor or very smooth asphalt pavement is best. My boy is 6 months, 26 inches, and 16 lbs fits great. The stroller doesn't have head or side body support, so if your baby has trouble sitting upright in a high chair, then save this stroller until they can. 5 point harness is easy to latch and secure without pinching fingers or snagging clothes.I don't know the differences between the 2014 and 2015, we purchased this with a 10% off coupon on PishPoshbaby dot com, 2 week delivery and the manufacture date was June 2014 but this is indeed the 2015 model since they are like cars and get made one year early...
